About Conference

We are excited to announce the 2nd Iraqi Epilepsy Conference, taking place on December 13-14, 2024 in Babylon Rotana Hotel - Baghdad. Building on the success of our first conference, this event is a collaborative effort between the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) East Mediterranean Region and the Iraqi League Against Epilepsy. The conference aims to bring together leading experts, medical professionals, and researchers to share the latest advancements and research in the field of epilepsy. It is with great pleasure and honor that I extend a warm welcome to each of you into our joint meeting of the 7th Eastern Mediterranean Epilepsy Congress (7th EMEC) & The Second Iraqi Epilepsy Conference (2nd IqEC).

The 7th EMEC, taking place in the historic city of Baghdad from December 12-14, 2024. This congress marks a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to advance the understanding, treatment, and management of epilepsy in the Eastern Mediterranean region.

On behalf of the Iraqi Chapter Against Epilepsy, it is my great honor and privilege to welcome you to the 7th Eastern Mediterranean Epilepsy Congress (7th EMEC) & The Second Iraqi Epilepsy Conference (2nd IqEC).
